  • Network environments consisting of 3 or less computers can be setup with standard Windows Peer-to-Peer file sharing

  • Network environments consisting of 4 or more stations must have a dedicated file server running Windows 2003 Server or higher

Network Hardware
  • 100/1000 router or switch, as opposed to a hub for increased performance/security

  • 100MBps up to 1GBps Network Interface Cards

  • Ethernet cabling must be Category 5e or Category 6 standard Cabling

Please Note: Milano Software will not work reliably in a wireless environment and will not be supported. Clients with wireless networks experience poor network performance and data loss due to slower and sporadic data transfers. All Milano software users must meet the requirements laid out in the Technical Environment Document. For a full version of the Technical Environment Document, contact Milano's Technical Support team. Milano Software V8 works on Apple computers as long as a supported Windows operating system is installed. Products such as Parallels or Boot Camp allow you to install Windows on your Apple computer but at an additional cost. Running Milano V8 in this type of environment is supported.
